Sony's skinny cams go red

Sony_dsc_t5 Sony does a nice line in half-starved digital cameras, and the popular T range has just been joined by the T5, which has all the features of its predecessor, the T7, including a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, 5-megapixel resolution, 2.5inch LCD monitor and 3x optical zoom. The key difference is a better quality battery which can apparently power the camera to take over 300 images and availability in four 'autumnal colours': red, champagne gold, silver and black. The camera also features 32MB of internal memory, though this can be expended via a Memory Stick Duo card, and there's MPEG video capture and playback. It goes on sale in September for around the £300 mark.
