Wireless Internet radio may be getting ready to stage a coup of the airwaves, but the now ubiquitous DAB Digital radio is looking ready and willing for the fight. And with prices coming down all the time, digital radios aren't quite ready for retirement just yet. Alba's done everyone a favour and developed this pink digital number that sells for less than £50. I've got one sat on my side right now, and though I'd have to have a bit of a moan at the buzz you get from the power supply, and the clunky noise that accompanies any button presses, the cute design is still winning me over. It might be a bit too plastic Barbie for some, but for others that's likely to be part of its charm. The Pink DAB/FM radio, which comes with the over-long moniker of TRDAB2820, is very easy to use, with its 10 DAB station presets and 10 FM presets. Alba's TRDAB2820 transistor radio is available now from W H Smith for £49.99.
