Last year it was the Text Me Home Dome; this year it's the Pic Stic. The plastic stick contraption has been designed to let you rise above the crowds to snap pics using your mobile phone. For some reason the idea of that tickles my fancy, probably because I'm a short arse who usually spends most of my time desperately craning my neck to try to see past the inconsiderate tall people who inevitably lurch leggily up to the front when they should all be forced to stand at the back like the collection of rhythm-free, canoe-footed, oversized maypoles they are. Not that I have anything against tall people you understand. Some of my best friends are 6ft freakos.
Anyway, not quite sure why they didn't get it out in time for Glastonbury (or maybe their delivery sank in the quagmire), but it'll be available at T in the Park, which Orange also does some sort of sponsorship on.
