Yesterday’s bombings showed just how important mobile phones are for everyone. Though many of us couldn’t get full coverage to call loved ones, texts were getting through, and most people spent the day clutching their mobiles both at home and on the streets. Photos and videos recorded on phones have been picked up by the TV news, and Moblog UK crashed when one blogger posted a photo taken in the underground.
Now you can have your say about the G8 summit at Gleneagles. Mobile users are being encouraged to record a video message and send it in via 3G video messaging provided by All New Video. If you manage to put across a coherent opinion then ITN editorial team may single it out to play on the live news programme.
