They're officially obsessed with negative ion's over in Japan. You can get negative ion generators built into your computer, USB dongles, hairdryers, and now mice. Why? Because apparently negative ions clean up the air around you, killing germs, cleaning up our blood and making us feel calm and relaxed. I'm not really a big fan of things that kill bacteria as a rule because I'm convinced that we're all going to be attacked by a giant super bug and it will be the fault of all the over-zealous hand sanitisers and anti-biotic munchers in the world. But enough of my crazed mind, even I can appreciate the benefits of having nice clean blood and a calm mind.
