The Enigma Fan

I can't quite make up my mind about The Enigma Fan from Fanimation.

On the one hand, the single-blade design with the uplights does give it a sleek, futuristic look appropriate to the more modern, minimalistic decor; especially in the satin nickel finish. On the other hand, the single-blade design also gives it the sharp, unsettling look appropriate to the more modern abattoir; especially in the satin nickel finish.

(And you won't sway me by pointing out that it appeared I, Robot either, because most of what I remember about Dectective Spooner's apartment is related to his shower.)

In the end, I think I'd quite like this fan in my own home; but I'd put it over the guest bed so folks could be simultaneously impressed by my contemporary tastes and yet too intimidated by the 60" blade smoothly rotating over their head to overstay their welcome. - [Star C. Foster]
