This is just the sort of geek gadget that I find myself drawn to against my will. Maybe it's because I've got RSI, maybe it's because I like to be able to jot notes wherever I am, but I would love to give this DigiMemo pad a little roadtest. Yes, I know that PDAs can record your notes and drawings just as well, but being able to scrawl on a big pad of paper, only to have everything recorded for later transferral to a computer, is somehow more appealing. Maybe I've taken leave of my senses, but the fact that it has hand writing recognition technology in it to convert your scribbles into typed Word documents is just doing it for me somehow. Also, it helps that it's only £100.
Info is saved onto CF memory cards, so you'll need to have a card reader to transfer data onto your computer, but using cards at least means you can bump up the capacity and keep lots of cards about.
