The Playstation Portable - or PSP to you and me - launched on 14th March in the US (we've still got a bit of a wait as ever). In celebration Sony came up with a nice little marketing ploy. This involved asking a load of pretty things - including Hilary Swank and.. er.. Nicole Ritchie -to a fashion show held in the console's honour. Marc Jacobs designed the black leather clutch case for the PSP; Henry Duarte created a vision in fur and leather to pop your console into; while Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons dreamt up a pure gold case replete with seven carats of yellow and black diamonds. All cases were ones of a kind, ensuring no mere mortals will be able to store their console in animal hide or blinging finery - until someone comes up with copies of course.
