No we haven't been getting a bit frisky with PhotoShop - you are in fact looking at a genuine mobile phone. Except of course it isn't. It is actually the Phobile, a retro home phone-style adaptor designed to add a touch of fogeyism to your state of the art modern handset (remember the Pokia?). It costs £29.95 and is available for pre-order now (it launches at the end of March) from Firebox.
It works with most Motorola handsets and will also be available with adaptors for Nokia, Siemens and Sony Ericsson models. It'll be interesting to see how it goes down with the Nathan Barleys of the world. Will they ditch their Japanese only import mobiles with twin MP3 mixing desks to own one? Mmmm.
