Here's a story to warm the cockles of your heart. This rather shamelessly adorable seal cub robot hasn't been developed so hunting types can practise their clubbing technique. No indeed, it's been created with the sole purpose of providing a bit of soothing comfort for the elderly, the children, the ill in hospital and the just plain lonely.
