So I admit I'm a little too obsessed with my slidey Siemens SL55 phone. It's eons old, has a crappy screen and no camera. But - feel free to call me mentally unsound - I just can't help it. The only thing that's come close in recent months is my Orange C500, but only when I've got to look busy and important. LG is certainly trying to loosen my grasp on my slider phone, however, with this C3300 handset. It's been designed by a woman expressly for women, which means it's thankfully free of those blob watch features these phones usually end up with. It also helps that's it's almost precisely the same lovely burgundy colour as old faithful.
Designed by Jin Kim, Head of Handset Design at LG, it's not packed with features, but it's got a camera (standard VGA not megapixel unfortunately) and a flash light.The LG C3300 is available on Pre-pay priced £99 and free on contract from T-mobile.
