Yes, we've been a bit slack with the gadget stories today. But that's because we've been busy beavering away on Shiny's spottier, geekier older brother site, Tech Digest. The reason? It's 3GSM in Cannes at the moment - a huge mobile phone conference when all the new handsets get announced. Sadly, we're not in Cannes to witness the thrills and excitement of each and every phone announcement, but armed with just a laptop, a photo editing program and a sense of purpose, we're planning on telling you about those phones we think might take your feminine fancy. Mainly because they're the ones that take our feminine fancy.
Top of everyone's lust-have list this year are the latest handsets from Motorola. As well as the limited edition black RAZR that's being gifted to celebs at the Oscars (which we told you about a few weeks back), the company has launched two new letter-thrifty handsets - the PEBL and the SLVR. The SLVR is basically a candybar version of the RAZR, while the PEBL is a smooth, rounded phone that looks like a pebble. Hence the name (clever, that).
