Course you do. Who wouldn't? Well, you can you know. You just need to download Skype and you can wibble on to friends and family over the interweb for as long as you like. Get everyone to download it and you can make all sorts of exciting conference calls and indulge in a bit of instant messaging as well. It's free to download, and free to use - so long as you've got broadband that is (you can use it on dial up as well, but you'll be paying for web connection). If you don't quite fancy the oddness of yammering away to your computer's microphone and listening to your friends through the speakers, you'll need to get yourself one of these VoIP CyberPhones from Firebox. The software comes all included with the phone and it plugs straight into your computer for a hotline to fellow Skype users. You can make calls to landlines and mobiles on it, but you'll have to pay for those. Credit can be bought from the Skype site and calls start at 1.2p a minute. The phone costs £29.95 - everything else is free.
