Nokia's Louis Vuitton style mobile

Well there's not long to wait now. Apparently the Nokia 7200, by far the company's coolest phone in years, is heading for the stores in April.

We think it will vie with the upcoming Motorola V80 and current champs the Siemens SL55 and Sony Ericsson T610 for the title of the most visible handset on All Bar One tables this summer.

We like it as it is the first Nokia phone to feature a clamshell, as opposed to what the Americans quaintly call a 'candy bar' upright type design. This being Nokia though it had to be different. So the phone features fabric-padding on its outside, the beige version of which looks a lot like a certain French fashion bag maker we could mention.

Nokia has kept the gadget count high too including a camera with a video option, an FM radio and a Wap browser for checking out news/weather/travel mini websites.

Battery life is of course very good and just like most Nokia phones it is very simple to use. Expect to pay around £100-150 for it if you have a mobile phone contract.

So what happens when you spill coffee on the lovely fabric bit, or a pen leaks on it in your bag or something? Is it machine washable? Can you get a spare set of covers free, this weekend only, like at DFS? I think we should know.

give this to me now.
